Introducing Provive Wellness’ Service & Unity Program for Military, Veterans & First Responders

May is National Military Appreciation Month, a time to recognize the courage and sacrifice of those who serve our country. As we observe Armed Forces Day on May 17, 2025, Provive Wellness proudly honors our nation’s heroes with the launch of a dedicated mental health track: the Service & Unity Program.

This specialized initiative was developed for active-duty service members, veterans, first responders, and their families—offering a trauma-informed and mission-aligned path to healing and reconnection.

Why Specialized Mental Health Support Matters

Military personnel and first responders face intense occupational stress and often experience higher rates of:

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Substance Use Disorders

According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, up to 20% of veterans from Operations Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Enduring Freedom (OEF) are affected by PTSD each year. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) also highlights elevated suicide risk and emotional strain among first responders.

These challenges frequently go untreated due to stigma, lack of tailored care, or unawareness of available services. The Service & Unity Program was created to close that gap—offering confidential, specialized, and compassionate care led by professionals who understand the unique demands of service.

What Is the Service & Unity Program?

The Service & Unity Track is a six-week intensive outpatient group program that helps participants:

  • Reclaim their identity
  • Restore their sense of purpose
  • Reconnect with themselves and others

Each week builds on the last, blending clinical expertise with experiential learning and peer connection.
